Configuring quorum disk backup in cluster environment in Avamar
Do we need to backup quorum disk in case of Microsoft windows 2012R2 cluster?
If yes, how can we configure it so that its backup don't fail.
If not, please explain why?
As per Avamar Windows server user guide, it says to exclude the quorum disk, but is there any way to configure it e.g. by configuring cluster plugin on it, I guess.

You should not back up the quorum disk in Windows Server 2008 or newer. Any information necessary to re-establish the cluster will be backed up during VSS System State backups of the physical cluster nodes.
