EMC Avamar Backup Log error
my os is windows 2000 server and the version of Client is v4.1.106-28 ,recently I view the log as below:
so the backup status display "Completed w/Exception(s)" but the contents I try to backup seems as ususl, anyone know how to solve the problem,contact me ASAP,plz 3Q~

VSS is not available in Windows 2000 so an open file agent is required to back up open files. According to the log messages, there is an issue with OTM which is the open file agent installed on the client. OTM waited 3600 seconds (one hour) for I/O on the D drive to stop long enough to take a snapshot before giving up. This can happen if the drive is very busy.

Thank you for your reponse,in order to solve this issue,should I change a disk drive to backup or re-installed the OTM?

Hey Funny,
I think you don't need to change the disk drive or re-install the OTM.
Due to the disk drive is so busy, the OTM timeout and occurred the error. So, I think you need to consider reduce the disk drive's I/O when you backup the disk drive.

talk to support get the AvamarOTM for windows 2000 zip file.
install it on your 2000 server (reboot required)
