Exchange message level issue
Hi everyone;
We're currently using Avamar Datasore 2tb
software version is 5.0.3.29 (sp3)
when we start a backup by exchange message plug-in
after a few mins backup activity look like running but no data flow.
when we check the agent logs we got
avtar Info <7644>: Server(server.domain.com) not responding (possible network congestion?) (300 seconds)
this line keep going like (2400 seconds.... 2700 seconds....)
we have search couple of solutions and we got found this :

wich says this is a bug and patch with sp3 solved the issue, but we already using SP3
anyone got any idea ?

Oh ok.
So this means you have configured to backup the Exchange Database, have you also configured to backup message level?
what exchange version are you backing up?
I have the documentation if you don't already have it.

its over lan ..
and i can backup exchange DB (not message level) on same server without a problem

I have had this error occur before.
Might be worth actually looking at the network usage.
Is it over WAN or LAN?

It seems that we have the same document. I can still send it to you via email .. its 1.8mb
So it is reporting some progress bytes before it fails?
I had the same issue but I was backing up at database level.
It happened once, but the next time it ran ok.
Hope somebody else in the forum can shed some light. Better yet log a support call.

its backing up some MB before fail..

yes.. i configure both of ..
exchange 2003 ..
i got docs about exchange db and message level ..
but i like to see your docs... how u can send me ?
strange think is message level backup is starting ..and backing up around 50-100 mb ...
after than its start this issue
