Hardware specs

Hi!

Could somebody help me to find or point me on the link with hardware specifications for single avamar nodes (7.8Tb, 3.9Tb, 2.6Tb, 1,4Tb)

I'm trying to find how many LAN ports are using or can be used (management + lan ports).

Thanks a lot!

Here is a guide which outlines various network setups:

All ports will be 1G with the exception of the DRAC port which is 100M

For a single node you will have a bonded pair of 2 management/backup NICS and can configure the DRAC for additional management access.

Avamar single nodes are the same hardware as the storage nodes in multi-node grids. Gen4 storage nodes have four 1G LAN ports plus a port for dedicated DRAC. Two of these four ports are normally set up in an HA configuration and connected to the customer network (Gb1 / eth0 + Gb3 / eth2 => bond0).

Since single node systems do not require an internal communication channel, the Gb2 / eth1 and Gb4 / eth3 ports are available for other uses such as management traffic segregation or dedicated replication but please keep in mind that they must be configured on separate networks, not just different IPs.

You will probably find the Customer Service Guide helpful. It contains physical descriptions and diagrams for the various node types. The part number for the guide is 300-011-547.

The networking configurations are detailed in the Avamar Data Store Gen4 Single Node Customer Installation Guide but you will likely only have access to this if you are a qualified partner. I don't believe it's available to customers directly. The part number for the Single Node guide is 300-011-545.
