How do I re-introduce a data node that went offline

Hi,

We have a 4 node grid (1 x utility, 3 data nodes) and one of the nodes went offline. Some backups ran before we could rectify the situation. Now when we try to restart the grid, gsan reports that the data nodes have a data time mismatch. Is there a way to resynchronise the data across the data nodes.

many thanks.

First things first.....if you don't  know why the node went offline then please contact support to get an RCA and address the root cause first. If it was an accident then why would you try to restart the grid ? It's a RAIN so you could always restart the offline node once you address the reason of it being offline.

Just restart the node (if its able to come up). It will automatically be included in the grid after some stripes transitioning.

I'm with Nayaks on this one. You really need to know why the node went offline before any attempt is made to bring it back online.
