How to install Avamar v5.0.2.41
I'm a beginner of Avamar, I know nothing about this before. I have downloaded the install file from avamar's ftp server(v5.0.2.41-customer_unified-v5.0.105.169.tar.gz). But I can't find any information about how to install it, and don't know what to do, how to do.
Could you give me some help or the install descriptions. Thanks very much.

Is this for Avamar virtual edition?
According to the Avamar training, EMC/Partners are meant to be performing any Avamar server installs/upgrades. You provide the ESX server, but the installation and benchmark testing is done by EMC-trained personnel.
That said, here's the install guide for Version 4. I can't seem to find version 5.
