Incorrect hostname used while doing a re-kickstart of Avamar utility node.

If an onsite engineer does a re-kickstart of an Avamar utility node with an incorrect hostname ,can it be fixed easily or will he have to re-kickstart again ?

There is tech note for this issue:

https://support.emc.com/docu7692_Changing-the-Name-and-IP-Addressing-of-Avamar-Systems-Avamar-4.x-or-Later-Technical-Note.pdf?language=en_US

I did it many times, there is no need to rekickstart node…

I don't recall a re-kick prompting for a hostname.  This is done via YAST after the re-kick if its SUSE.  If its redhat, there are files under etc that need to be edited to change the hostname and after the changes are made stop and start services.
