Migrate vCenter
We've planned to setup a new vCenter and migrate the existing one, which is a client in our Avamar 6.1., to it. The new one will have a new name, new IP, new domain. What does that mean in Avamar for all the VM-clients under the old vCenter-client? Can they be moved to the new vCenter, without loosing existing backups?

Hello,
You can retire the VM clients from the old vCenter on the Avamar administrator, so backups will not be lost but stored in MC_RETIRED domain.
Then, remove the previous vCenter, migrate the VMs to the new vCenter.
And add the new vCenter to the Avamar administrator and re-register the retired VMs
