NDMP 60 minutes start time out?

Hi folks,

(Avamar 6.1.1, NDMP Accelerator 6.1.1)

I've got an NDMP client that runs three jobs.  If I schedule all three to run at the same time they'll run serially like they should.  If the first of the three jobs runs longer than 60 minutes the other two jobs will fail with "timed out - start".  The workaround, of course, is to stagger the scheduled start times.  I'm wondering whether there is a way to increase the 60 minutes start timeout as well.  Any suggestions?

Thank you!

PK

This sounds like a backup schedule problem to me. Jobs will be marked as "timed out - start" if they are still queued when the schedule's end time is reached. I would recommend reviewing the schedule assigned to the group in the policy settings.

Great catch!  I or one of my cohorts must have changed the schedule's start time which causes the gui to automatically update the end time to be one hour after the start time instead of just leaving the end time alone.

Fixed and I'm not likely to miss it again.  Thanks!
