Ports requirement for connecting Avamar to external switch ( Not ADS switch)

For Designing the Avamar solution for Ports requirement , I have couple of doubts here.

1. Each storage node and Utility node will be having 8 Ethernet ports , 2 for backup & restore , 2 for replication , 2 for internal and 2 for Management , if I am not wrong

2. When you connect to external switch , whether I do require 4 Ethernet ports on external switch for each node ?.

Let me consider 11 storage nodes and 1 utility node. it is connected to 2 switches ( for redundant )

Looking the attached diagram , I can understand all the 4 Ethernet ports on each storage node has to have a connection on the external network, than I should have that many Ethernet ports on the switch ? or else any bonding will happened on internal ADS switch .. Please clarify my doubt
