Restore data from deleted client - Replicated - Avamar 6.1.187

Hello, I have a two part question.

1) I deleted a client and garbage collect has not happened.  It is a VM.  Can I undo that?  I doubt it but want to ask.

2) The client in question is replicated to another grid.  Can I recover data from the replicated data? If so how?

Basically the VM in question is no longer in service.  It was replaced.  I deleted the VM and should have kept it because for the last three months there was a monthly job done on it.  The VM was replicated to another grid so I am curious if I can get the data from that?

  1. It's not possible to "undelete" clients or their backups they contained.
  2. In general, you can activate the client to the replication target and restore the data from there. This becomes a little bit more involved when we're talking about VM Image backups. The process is the same but you have to add the vCenter to the replication target, deploy and configure a proxy, etc. before you can run the restore.
