I am having trouble deleting vCenter servers on a certain Avamar grid. I have deleted the subdomains, the related groups, even datasets and replication group, but still upon going for the delete, it throws the error:
Please help !

I would recommend opening a service request for this issue.

Yes, that's already done and the team moved it to core support and updated there might be a need to raise PR on the same.
I thought of opening this forum to get some other ideas !
Anyways, Thanks !

go look at the proxies that are for that vcenter,
Administration - edit client - group tab, verify everything is gone,
you might have one you are not aware of.

No proxies present. All checked.

So does it gives the output on the deleted VM in its original location when you run that?

Try checking any one of the the VM you have already deleted by running
mccli client show --name=/vCenter/Subdomain/client if it gives you the output with that deleted client info in the deleted domain/sub domain, it is the problem that needs to be fixed by support. try and let us know.

It doesn't gives any output cause there are no VMs inside. The only thing inside vCenter Domain is Container domain.

This is also tried. Core support is checking on the root cause.

and just to check.
you went to the policy screen
the groups tab
and clicked on vcenter and EVERY folder below to verify there are not groups anywhere,
and went to datasets and verified there are not dataset set in there (with the off chance some other group is using a dataset in that domain)
Just trying to think of every place to check.

Hey Prateek,
How are you?. Hope you are doing good.
Try checking all the disabled and enabled backup groups if they are residing under vcenter domain. There should be some backup groups except "default" group, existing under that domain. Delete that group and try deleting vcenter. Basically vcenter give error if it has any sort of mapping from Avamar Database perspective.
