is DataDomain (and DDBoost) support with an Avamar Business Edition ?

Hi all. I have the same question. It is possible to integrate Avamar Business Edition with Data Domain?

I'm sorry, but the information that Prateek Hatawal has provided is not exactly correct.

While physically it is possible, and there is nothing in the code to stop it, it is NOT SUPPORTED.

There is likely to be issues with the ABE Raid-6 Configuration.

The source of this information is Avamar Product Management.
RPQs (Request for Product Qualification) for this configuration will not be granted.

Customers can do this, but at their own risk, and EMC will not warrant the server's performance or operation.

An EMC Partner has done this for one of their customers, and EMC will not support it or upgrade, patch, or apply any hot-fixes in this configuration.

If you want to send Avamar Backup data to Data Domain it must be on an Avamar Data Store, and not an Avamar Business Edition.

The avamar virtual edition is also supported for metadata storage...also the avamar single node...but indeed not the business edition with the R6 config
