proactive_check.pl

Hi all,

Has anyone seen the following issue?

I was trying to run proactive_check.pl and was getting an error stating "bad interpreter: No such file or directory" which I was guessing was due to cooying the file from windows and it seeing and space or line end character incorrectly which I can work with and fix, however, now if I run anything such as dpnctl status - it also shows the same error!!!

root@XXXXXXXXXXXX:/usr/bin/#: dpnctl status

-bash: /usr/local/avamar/bin/dpnctl: /usr/bin/perl: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

I rebooted the system and still the same issue. Have been seeing some other inconsistencies such as trying to install the Avamar_Client_Installers packages, move the files into the correct location, open installation manager, I can see them being unpacked and then they just disappear - have done this with both winscp and also browsing to the files within installation manager and uploading from there - same outcome each time.

Other strange behaviour but will start with these for now.

Anyone seen anything similar - know how to stop that perl error?

Thanks in advance
