Rebuilding not starting on VRTX Storage after replacing Disk

Hello, we recently encounter a problem related to what's on the subject. We had a disk that exceeded the threshold on auto correcting so the physical disk shown as warned on the VD. Dell sent us a new disk and we got the message that it was rebuilding. After some seconds, another disk started to show this message on OME "Bad block medium error is detected at block xxxxxx". Now the errors have stopped ( like 140 alerts ) but the new disk is stuck at %0 rebuilding. We have ESX's installed on 3 blades, and we moved the most critical VM's into the Blades Disks, however, i want to have a healthy VD on the VRTX to move everything back. Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks

Hi, what RAID level are you running? Do you have a backup? It sounds like there is a double fault. https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sln111497/double-faults-and-punctures-in-raid-arrays?lang=en

Hello Josh, we have a Raid-5 and working on backup now.

After sending logs we found out that 2 other disks have predicted failures and are most likely to fail. So we will have to replace them.

Thanks.
