VRTX : M630 vs M630p
Hello,
Planning to buy a VRTX, will I be able to take some of my M630 out of my M1000e chassis and put them into the VRTX?
Or does the VRTX only allow M630p?

The M630 is interchangeable between the M1000e and VRTX.

One note though: you need the mezzanine cards to put an M1000e's M630 into a VRTX. In an M1000e you can put ethernet, fiber channel or infiniband mezzanine cards in those slots. For the VRTX there is a different card that allows you to map the PCIe slots of the chassis to the blades. I'm pretty sure that even if you don't plan to map any PCIe cards to the blade, you still need those VRTX mezzanine cards in the blade.
