Clarrion VNX Transitioning When SP Reboots
Hi,
We have a Clarrion VNX CX 240 running FLARE CODE 4.30.0.5.525
Have two issues :
1) Rebooting SP Causes some of the RAID Groups to go in to Transitioning State ?
Also - We cant figure out how much transitioning is done ?
2) We are unable to Enable Write Cache on this system, even though no LUNS are offline and the SPS are enabled and available.
This is an Array used by multiple teams and is impacting all of them. Any help would be appreciated.

For question 2, please check the items listed in the document: What conditions can cause write cache to become disabled ? Have you checked the power supplies and fans? It would be better if you gather SPCollects log file and submit it to EMC for analysis.
I would suggest fixing question 2 first then let's see if question 1 still exists.
