Data Replication Across Hetrogenious Storage Boxes EMC and HP
Scenario:
Customer Has two Storage Boxes HP EVA 4100 and EMC Clariion CX4-240
1. He want to migrate his existing SQL data from HP EVA to EMC Clariion
2. After migration to new storage (EMC Clariion) he still want to keep the copy of Data on his old Storage (HP EVA), So that if his clariion got down, he can still able to run is SQL cluster from his old box.
In short he want to use both old and new storage box for his SQL Cluster.?
Question: Can any body help me with the Solution for this scenario ?

as long as you have San Copy on your Clariion it can be done. Fist you will need to migrate from HP to Clariion (EVA 4100 is supported by SanCopy), you will need to shut down the host on HP, use SanCopy to migrate data over and then bring system up on Clariion. After that you can perform incremental SanCopy push to your EVA at whatever intervals you decide you need.
