Does anyone know how to clear a hot spare warning?
I have a hot spare warning that will not go away.
There are no available hot spares on the storage system. Creating hot spares is highly recommended.
this has a date that the san was initialize. i now have a hot spare, and the hot spare lun configured, but the warning will not go away.

To restart management server go to :
http://IP/setup
(where IP is the IP address of your SP)
Log in with "admin"
Clic on "restart the management server"
You will be disconnected of the SP but it will still be online for servers.

- you have created a hot spare raid group with a single disk
- the disk size in this raid group is equal or greater than the bigger disk of the Clarrion
- you have binded a lun in this raid group which appears in Navisphere as a private lun "Hot Spare"
Is it correct ?

That did it. I tried to reboot the entire SPs and it did not resolve it...odd. Thanks.

Can you mark Ovivier's answer as correct or helpful if appropriate? It helps to identify the correct answer in a thread.
Thanks,

Thank you Bob for points, but I am not sure to be deserving. Does your last answer means that you have checked your configuration but you still have the problem ?
