EMC CX4-240 IOPS and Throughput
Is there anybody knows how much IOPS for EMC CX4-240 and also how much the throughput?
I need this information as we are compete with HDS in bid project.

However, sometimes the Data Sheet and Specification Sheet on the EMC Home page helps to get some Model specific data - it may not provide you the answer you are looking for - but you may take a look at these, if not already done -

Beyond the raw performance numbers of the storage controllers in a array comparison I would ask all vendors involved how many disks and how much storage was used from each disk to achieve their advertised IOPS number.
The reason I state this is some vendors will use an unrealistic configuration to achieve their high IOPS rating and it may not accurately reflect the real world use of the array. For example I saw vendor claim that a 500GB LUN hosting a OLTP database was capable of X amount of IOPS (it was a really big number). But what was discovered when the actual configuration was revealed was that to achieve that number they deployed 50 73GB 4Gb 15K RPM drives and used 10GB from each drive in a wide strip. An extreme case of short stroking to achieve an advertised IOPS rating, but a practice all too common in advertised performance numbers.
