EOL for cx700

Hi all:

My previous question I asked about expansion of a cx700 array.
Question - is it worth it? What is EOL on the cx700 array?

Thanks

More answers for you from Powerlink ;-)

Support > Interoperability and Product Lifecycle Information > Release and End of Life Dates > EMC Hardware Release and End of Service Dates

The EOL (date manufacturing of array ended) was December 2006. The EOSL (date support for the array will end) is December 20011. So you will be able to receive parts, renew warranty and upgrade FLARE until the EOSL date is my understanding of EOSL support.

Aran is absolutely correct. As of now - these are the dates and EOSL (End of Service Life) explanation is also correct.

Aran - you are so fast - beating me everytime on the replies ;)

Cheers,

I think I saw that as an extra option when renewing your warranty: 1 or 18,000 years ;-)

I'm sure EMC is just trying to make it easier for us so we don't have to suffer through so many maintenance renewals. But the bill for that one...!!! *lol*
