How can I add DAE2P to CX400?
hi,
I have a CX400 ,flare is 2.06.400.5.006, i need add a dae2p(CX-2PDAE-FD,pn:100-5610508):
so what can I do next?
i find emc154373 " Which type of Disk Array Enclosure (DAE) can be used in CX-Series and CX3-Series arrays?":DAE2P was not supported on CX400.
is it possible to convert cx400 to Cx500 first?
but Mirror View is running on these two Cx400s.

As the flare is quit old(release 13), you must first upgrade it to R19 first and R13 cannot upgrade to R19 directly, it needs to be upgraded to at least R14 as an interim step.
Besides, you have to consider the difference of flare level between 2 CX boxes since MirrorView will not work if flare level of 2 boxes are apart more than 1 revision.
Btw, it is a big change and needs to plan carefully.
