How to modify Email configuration
Hello,
We are getting 8 email alerts daily (all the same within a few seconds) on our Brocade EMC CX300 configured by previous admin.
I like to know where it is configured and if possible i could modify it so i get one alert a week.
Here is the alert:
"Time Stamp 10/22/12 01:49:25 Event Number 904 Severity Error Host SPB_303667 Storage Array APM000xxxxxxxx SPB Device Enclosure 0 Power A Description VSC Shutdown/Removed"
Thanks

Why do you wish to change the email frequencies? If you are moving the SAN and if you do not want any email notification to be generated you can disable the template for a while and enable it back. (I believe that this activity does require EMC Field Engineer and they do disable/enable the template)
PFA 2 Screenshots about ideal/default settings.
If you have click on General Radio Button, you will see this option in Modify Window:

It is configured in EMC CX300 Navisphere manager (Monitor-call home template).
Below alert indicates the Clariion power supply A failure.Perform Clariion health check.
Time Stamp 10/22/12 01:49:25 Event Number 904 Severity Error Host SPB_303667 Storage Array APM000xxxxxxxx SPB Device Enclosure 0 Power A Description VSC Shutdown/Removed"
Work with EMC CS, replace the faulted power supply A. It won't generate any alert after the faulted PS replacement.

Thanks Mahesh,
My manager wants to move the servers to new SAN before replacing any hardware at this time
I located the template this morning, modified and removed the check mark by "Response Delay". Then started getting this error email non-stop 30 emails:
"Time Stamp 10/22/12 01:16:53 Event Number 952 Severity Error Host SPB_303667 Storage Array APM00061303667 SPB Device Enclosure 0 Fan A Description Single Fan Fault"
We have two templates one for windows SAN (there is no check mark for "Response Delay" and we get two emails once a week on Mondays at 10:00 AM.
Can you tell me how Email frequencies are controlled? Thanks again
