How to use Navicli SetStats to gather ALL performance information?
Hi,
I am trying to utilize navicli setstats to continuosly gather performance data from a few clariions. These boxes do not have analyzer installed due to the customers not purchasing it. Is this possible to gather all of the same stats from navicli as it is from analyzer?
Also what other switches would I need to grab this data?
And finally is there another graphing tool that anyone has used to take these stats and develop a webpage ?

It is possible to gather many of the raw statistics but it will take some work. Use setstats -on/-off to toggle statistics on and off or zero out the counters. Reference the CLI manual.
You can retrieve the counters using various get commands such as getdisk etc. Stay away from getall as the outpur can change from release to release and -xml in the R26 Secure CLI client is fully tagged.
We do not recommend running continuously with statistics on for days at a time. There is a measurable performance impact and the counters will roll over which will make your scripting that much more complex.
The alternative is to buy Analyzer, work with the .nar files and export stats as a file
