LUN Bind Operation Fails
Hello there,
I have an issue with CX500. Recently I have updated the FLARE code from 02.24.500.5.017 to 02.26.500.5.031.
Since then I cannot create LUNs. It produces this error message:
The bind operation failed: SPA: An installed software package must be committed before this command can be accepted (0x40008044).
I have produced a System Software Summary report and it shows:

My question is. How do I commit the changes to the SP? I have already restarted both SPs twice.

storage system properties > software tab ..select flare and hit commit.

Hello dynamox,
Thank you very much for the prompt reply.
The issue was that under Navisphere I did under Storage System
Properties I have only two tabs: General and Cache. So, I was not able
to get to the Software tab and commit the changes I have made.
Silly me. What I did is connect through Unisphere to the array and now
I have the Software tab option on the property page.
