Problem with merge files .nar

The customer is using naviseccli on system AIX 6100-06-06-1140 to merge files .nar by analyser from VNX storage.

I opened this call because the same utility ran on Linux works correctly

Analyser on VNX create files like :

CKM00114900261_SPA_2012-01-07_02-56-52-GMT_P01-00.nar

CKM00114900261_SPA_2012-01-07_15-56-52-GMT_P01-00.nar

CKM00114900261_SPA_2012-01-08_04-56-52-GMT_P01-00.nar

...........

First merge :

time naviseccli analyzer -archivemerge -data CKM00114900261_SPA_2012-01-07_02-56-52-GMT_P01-00.nar

CKM00114900261_SPA_2012-01-07_15-56-52-GMT_P01-00.nar -out merge.nar

Completed merging archives.

.

real    0m16.73s

user    0m14.00s

sys     0m1.30s

The same command with linux gives :

real    0m2.842s

user    0m2.459s

sys     0m0.383s

Second merge :

naviseccli analyzer -archivemerge -data merge.nar CKM00114900261_SPA_2012-01-08_04-56-52-GMT_P01-00.nar -out merge2.nar

The command is never terminated and the cpu is near 100%

CPU :

User     91.7   |##########################  |

Physc =  1.04                     %Entc= 115.2

Processus :

Name            PID  CPU%  PgSp Owner

navisecc   18022548  96.4   2.0 root

However the documentation says it is possible to work like this.

Is there a new incident ?

Please open a case with EMC for this issue - this seems like a problem with the naviseccli of AXI. Is the vesrion of CLI for AXI the same version or higher than the version of the array that the NAR files were taken from? Make sure naviseccli AIX version is the latest.
