Renaming Storage Groups
Can I rename Storage Groups from within Navisphere without adversely affecting connected ESX hosts as presented in vCenter?
Thanks...

you don't have any SnapView scripts that utilize SG name ..that's something to consider as well.

Thanks..
I was wondering along the same lines. Can I rename LUNS without impacting productions servers and HOSTS connected to them?

As long as you don't have scripts that use the name, you can pretty much rename anything (except the SPs or serialno without problems).
Hosts use the wwn for the LUN and Storage Group. The name is just a friendly alias for you to easily recognize.

That's right. You can even name two LUNs with the same name. Clariion doesn't bother.
