SCSI-3 reservation supported on the CLARIION CX4-960
Is SCSI-3 reservation supported on the CLARIION CX4-960 array. We are trying to install SQL SERVER Cluster 2008, we are seeing errors:
Cluster Disk 0 does not support Persistent Reservations. Some storage devices require specific firmware versions or settings to function properly with failover clusters. Please contact your storage administrator or storage vendor to check the configuration of the storage to allow it to function properly with failover clusters.

So, I have 2 luns (quorum and data) assigned to this cluster (VM cluster), do I need to do anything to set the SCSI-3 reservation on them? We are running:
FLARE-operating Environment 04.28.000.5.706

SCSI-3 is enabled in the Flare, you don't need to do anything from array perspective. Can you please describe your setup, vSphere or Hyper-v ..are disks presented in RDM mode (physical or virtual) ?

virtual RDM is not supported with Windows 2008 Clustering, change to physical mode and it should work.

We changed RDM to physical and that solve the issue. Thanks for the assistance.
