Simple RAID Group question
I would like to expand a raid group without migrating it into a larger RG and without using metta luns. The RG is the only RG in the shelf. There are unallocated drives in the shelf. Is there a simple expand function in Unisphere that will let me expand this RG by utilizing the unallocated drives in the same shelf?

After reading up on the RG expansion process, it looks like I’m out of luck. My RG is RAID6 and this precludes it from simple expansion. So I started a LUN migration to a RAID5 RG. Unfortunally, this migration will take 23 days set on HIGH.

So you have approximately 6.5TB of data to migrate?
