Starting over CX600
We have a CX600 that was part of a mirrorview pair of which its mirroring partner has been shutdown and removed before the mirrors could be effectively removed. As a result the CX600 isn't allowing me to destroy the mirrors even after administratively fracturing them. Flare code 19.
The array is running fine, but we no longer have any systems using it so we want to 'start over.' Can someone direct me to a CLI code that will allow me to do that or offer up how to accomplish that via the Navisphere console?
Thank you,
~Steve

No change in engineering mode. No "force destroy" option appears.

No, but I've not tried logging in engineering mode.

Steve,
From the GUI, do you've the option of force destroying the mirror?

Yes, I can see both the primary and secondary mirror. Right clicking on either the secondary or primary doesn't offer 'force destroy." Attempting to unbind the LUN causes Navisphere to gripe about it being in use.

When you right click on the mirror, do you see tabs for primary. Apologies for directing you blind. I don't have access to a array now and am on my mobile.

Does this CX600 host the primary or secondary? If it’s the secondary, you may have to force promote first, then remove force destroy the new secondary (previous primary), followed by the mirror itself.

The 600 is the primary host.

Have you tried to restart the management servers on each SP, it’s possible there are remnants of a config hanging out there that aren’t really there.

Yes, we bounced each SP a few days ago after we discovered the issue.
