Which driver for QLE2460 for Windows 2003 (32 bit) should I use ?
Dear all,
We just purchase a DELL 2950 Server for running Windows 2003 with Qlogic QLE2460 HBAs.
When I go to QLogic web site, we find that there are a number of drivers available. We will not boot from SAN. Does it mean that we should use the " SCSI 32-bit Miniport Driver (x86)" driver ?
Besides, we would like to know what is "STOR Miniport 32-bit Driver (x86)" driver ?

when you are connecting your hosts to EMC storage you always want to use EMC approved drivers, here is direct link to EMC approved drivers for your hba model:

typically you would go to Qlogic/Emulex websites and under download section you select OEM and then EMC. You want to use STORport, take a look at Microsoft paper that explains differences and benefits of using STORport driver:
