navisagent not registering on ESX3.5
Hi,
This is driving me nuts. I have done this a dozen times before and this time naviagent refuses to log in and register. I am using 6.26 and same config as on all my other ESX boxes but it won't register.
I can ping my ISCSI adapter on the ESX box from my clariion ports just fine, And the other way around too. I have reinstalled naviagent and rebooted ESX a few times but to no prevail. In ESX I use dynamic discovery method but nothing appears to be detecting
Any ideas where the problem lies?
Cheers

used the following procedure to register the hosts:
manually register.
add host to storage group
add luns to storage group
rescan luns on host.
/etc/init.d/naviagent stop
rm /var/log/HostiDFile.txt
/etc/init.d/naviagent start
update now clariion.
Manually registered now gone and everything back to normal.

Did you create a storage group ?
Did you put at least 1 LUN in there ?
Is your zoning ok ? (or VLAN's if using iSCSI)
Did you put the host in there as well ? <-- or don't you see the host in connectivity status at all ?
