Regrading Control luns from backend DMX-4

Thank you.It is saying that we have to set AS400 bit for gatekeeper device do any one have any idea to how to set that bit?

In Symmwin select the config file then goes to "VolEdit" you will have column "AS400 Gate" at the line of your device select this by hitting the space bar.

Yes - celerra_FBA emulation is required for all devices presented to Celerra - be it Control LUNs or Data Luns.

Before we go further, is this a new install or are you just adding storage to an existing Celerra which has control volumes on another backend storage array?

If this is a new install, NSX is not customer-installable. Your field service team should be performing this installation for you. You should contact the field team to schedule that install.

If you are simply adding storage to an existing NSX which has a backend array already, there is no need to add control LUNs; in fact, it would be very bad to do so.

If you need assistance with adding storage, I suggest you contact your local field service team for assistance.
