Simultaneous/parallel NFSv3 and NFSv4 exports of same filesystem possible?

Question

This may be an easy on that I am just missing in the manual: is it possible to run both NFSv3 and NFSv4 exports of the same filesystem at the same time?

This may be a more intrinsic NFS issue and may be really simple, but rather than research base NFS capabilities I figured I would ask here in case there is anything EMC/Celerra specific about it.

My interest in doing this is to prepare for a future V3 to V4 transition.

The protocol (V2/V3/V4) is determined by the mount options on the client. By default, the exports are available via all 3 versions. You can use the server_nfsstat command to see how the exports are currently accessed in your environment.
