celerra NAS NFS authentication

when we are mapping or accessing CIFS share from client machine,

we should enter username, password(AD or nas local pass) to access the share.

where as when we are mounting NFS export at client side,it doesn't require username/password. why NFS export doesn't require authentication on mounting?.

How will be the NIS integration to Celerra/VNX will be useful?.

Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility.  Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and questions can go unanswered for a long time.

You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right of this post.  Then search for and select the application which this post refers to.

I would also suggest providing screenshots and other details which support your question.
