what is best partice to backup the NX4 box?
I like to do schedule tape backup for the NX4 box? What is the best way to do? We have netbackup and backupexec in our enviroment already.

Yes, but it require NDMP license.. does I have other options?

you can use LAN based backup if you are ok with the performance and don't need multi-protocol attr backup

I don't know how much the NDMP license is for NetBackup but the one for BackupExec is not that much. You can use the eval license to compare how much faster it is than the CIFS method.
To restore an NDMP backup, you have to have an NDMP target. This is really the only technical issue I'm aware of as to why you could not/would not use NDMP.

plus you can restore an NDMP backup only on the same vendors device - another Celerra in this case
