Centera BI-Directional Replication

Can I set a QOS value on centera bi-directional replication to limit the amount of WAN bandwitdh is will use to replicate data?

The Centera does not have QOS settings for replication.

To control the bandwidth the customer would need to set QOS on their network switches.

The threads used by replication can be limited but even a single thread will attempt to use the most bandwidth it can in order to complete its task
The amount that a single thread can end up taking will obviously be less than the default of 20 threads.
The only time you would be likely to see the real difference would be in instances where there is a large replication queue being dumped to either cluster. Otherwise replication will stay fairly consistent while still taking into account that it will need to replicate everything that comes in and it will vary depending on the volume of writes to the cluster

Please refer to EMC Knowledgebase solution emc181862, for more information regarding QoS enabled switch ports and the Centera.
