PoolOpen takes a minute to succeed
I have two systems which appear to be in configuration lock-step. Testing using the JCASScript on RHEL 64-bit. On one system the poolopen command succeeds almost instantaneously. On another system the poolopen command succeeds after a minute or so.
This wouldn't be as big of a deal, but the latency also happens on the clipblobsave command when the clip doesn't exist. Which when trying to pull 100 records, extends the time it takes to 100x the time it should take.
Any ideas of why this would be?

Probably has something to do with failover behavior. Can the second system connect directly to the replica cluster successfully with JCAS?

Yep..that's it. Forgot that it tells the client about all ip's including the replica's.
