To disable Anonymous profile

A Documentum application stored about many contents on a Centera storage using Anonymous profile and about 4 millions using a specific profile (i.e. a specific .pea file).

Centera Admin needs to disable Anonymous profile but this action will make not readable all contents stored using anonymous profile to all clients, included Documentum applicatons.

Is there a way or a tool to change profile associated to all contents stored using Anonymous profile or a workaround to make readable all documents written using anonymous profile even if Centera admin diabled it ?

Hi

the access profile use and the cluster or virtual pool used are actually two seperate things

An Access Profile is an authentication mechanism that the SDK <-> CentraStar use to figure out what capabilities the application should get on the cluster and also what pool they have access to for writes and reads etc.

So if you create an Access Profile and specify that it should use the default pool as its home pool it should be able to access any clips written when the application was using the newly disabled anonymous (no access profile) profile
