SCv2020 with Oracle Linux
Hi:
We acquire a brand new SCv2020 FC, our servers are two Dell PowerEdge R430 with dual port QLogic 2562 HBA connected to two Brocade B300 switches, all the configuration of the SAN works just fine, but we are having some issues working with the servers using multipath.
The operating system we use is Oracle Linux 3.8.13-118.20.1.el7uek.x86_64, but when installing the multipath and following the steps of the best practices "DellEMC SC Series with Red Hat Enterprise Linux" for the black lists, the disks presented to the host are shown five times, four to all the active paths, and the fifth consolidated as one.
What we need, is only see one disk "the consolidated using multipath", not five, does anyone known a solution for this, or tell me what else to do?
Here are some pics of what we see related to aour disks
/etc/multipath.conf
defaults {
user_friendly_names yes
find_multipaths yes
}
blacklist_exceptions {
device {
vendor "COMPELNT"
product "Compellent Vol"
}
}
Thanks in advanced

In your output I do not show an issue
[root@host6 ~]# multipath -ll

I show sdb, sdc, sdd, sde in your output. Verify that sda is properly added
