Shutdown of SCv3000 by powershell
Hi,
I can not find the powershell cmdlet so I can shutdown the SCv3000 by scripting.
In Dell Storage Manager, I can see the System Shutdown/Restart option in Web GUI and I want to script its equivalent.
I wan to have PowerChute command script to shutdown the array in an orderly fashion but only after it shutdown all the VM's and ESxi hosts when battery life is low.
Thanks a lot for your help.

You do not mention what version of SCOS you are using so I will based my response on SCOS07.x with Dell Stroage Manager 2016R3.20. You cannot script this using a powershell cmdlet because the Storage Center Command Set does not have this command included. Instead you will need to script this through your Data Collector using Dell Storage PowerShell SDK.
Dell Storage PowerShell SDK version 3.5.1:
ftp://customer:Y3V2s-uH@ftp.compellent.com/SOFTWARE/API/680-117-005 PowerShell API Release Notes.pdf
ftp://customer:Y3V2s-uH@ftp.compellent.com/SOFTWARE/API/DellStoragePowerShellSDK_v3_5_1_9.zip
Dell Storage PowerShell SDK Cookbook:
http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/extras/m/white_papers/20441893
There are 2 commands included:
Stop-DellScController - shuts down a single controller
Stop-DellStorageCenter - shuts down an entire system
As long as your controllers have an iDRAC you can then power then on remotely. If not you will have to power them on using the power button on the front of each controller.

Thanks a lot Bob much appreciated, I've got it working.
Would be helpful if base set of power cli cover all web gui functions.
