Storage vMotion & Replay Size Growth
On a Compellent, do storage vMotions cause the size of "Replays" to balloon/grow? I know with NetApp, storage vMotioning off causes existing volume snapshots to grow. I'd try it myself but dealing with a full array and would like to know what to expect.

yes, because a Storage vMotion is considered new writes to the Datastore you moved the VM to so it'll balloon temporarily but then as original blocks of data on the source Datastore's Replays expire, it should free up there.
