Domain IDs in a VSAN

Hi.. Is it possible to assign the same Domain ID ( e.g. 5 ) for every VSAN in the same physical switch. Any disadvantages ?

You could do that. Is there a reason why you'd want a fixed domain id for each switch in a VSAN ? I can see that you'd like to have each physical switch to have the same domain id in each VSAN, but so far I haven't seen any reason to take much notice of the domain ids....

You're welcome. If you really want to use fixed domani ids in each switch in a VSAN, you'll have more work and you'll need to do some administrative work as well. Why do it if the fabric can do it for you ?
