Eclipse MC data1620
Hi ,
we are going to connect 2 clariion cx500 using 2 Mcdata 1620 san routers "ifcp" for Mirror View replication...
Can anyboy just summerize the steps for zoning the clariion ports over ifcp ....
Note the clariion ports are directly connected to the san routers on each side.

Nop it is iFCP another protocol than FCIP
i did it once on FCIP with MP 7500B .. but this time it is different with this Mcdata that uses iFCp..do you have any idea ?

Sounds like you are looking for FCIP(Fiber Channel over IP)..

The answer and very good example is in page 109 of the
Adminstration and Configuration guide...
in My case it worked much easier than i expected
