Upgrading Fabric Manager
Hello,
In order for Fabric Manager to see our new 8GB 9148 switches, I have to upgrade from 5.01a to 5.07. Is this complicated? I have not seen any documentation on this and can I just install the new version on a Virtual Machine and have it discover the Fabric as well? Didn't know if it was possible to have two versions running at the same time.

i've upgraded multiple times with no issues, make sure you have your passwords handy (postgress sql db). You can't run two versions at the same time. SHutdown your VM, take VM level snapshot, bring it up and upgrade FM. If you don't like it, shutdown VM and roll back the snapshot.

I will have to find the DB password. I did not do the original install and so I hope it's the default.
