Alienware desktop order taking to long

Hi Can anyone shed some light on why my order i placed on the 24th of November takes a whole month to get to me? I have an estimated date by 12/31 why? I see on the Dell site if i order one right now i can get it buy 12/13 so what gives? I cant get any answers on why from anyone and my order status just says confirmed, can anyone from Dell on here help with this , im frustrated at this point.
