Dell Expedited Delivery

I don't understand what Dell Expedited Delivery means.  I received a shipping notice and my credit card was charged for my computer on November 27.  FedEx says the package wasn't put into their system until November 30.  The package was picked up in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.  It then went to Fort Worth, where it sat until December 1.  It then went to Dongola, Il.  FedEx says it will arrive in Michigan (where I live on December 4.  That is eight days from receipt of shipping notice to delivery (assuming it arrives when FedEx estimates it will).  That is not my idea of expedited.
