Hopeless delivery tracking system.

I ordered a dell computer with an estimated delivery date of around 5th December.

Today I got an email saying that it has been shipped, would arrive on 27th, sometime between 09:00 and 18:00 and someone had to be in all day to accept it.

The tracking link to syncreon gave no opportunity to change the date.

How can that be an acceptable level of service ?

Even the worst of the couriers these days give an opportunity to change the delivery date if you are not going to be in. The best give an hour delivery window.

I am really wishing I had bought my computer from someone else.

I too have the same problem. Was meant to arrive on 28th and they updated to 18th. Took whole day off and nothing arrived between 9am-6pm as the email suggested. Left the house at 6:30pm and returned a few hours later to find they'd tried delivering art 7:30pm..  according to my security cams. Very frustrating. No card or contact number or anything left behind.  No idea what happens next...
