How to delete customer number from My Account? #2

Thank you for writing to us here and sharing your concern. I'm sorry there is no option available to remove the customer numbers linked to the account.

The only way to remove the customer numbers is to to delete the account completely. If you would like to proceed with the same,do share the name, email address used to create the account. I'll work with the back end team to have this processed. It might take 1-2 business days for this to be completed.

if the only solution to remove inaccurate customer numbers is to delete my profile all together and start from scratch then I guess we will have to do that.  

I am just baffled a little though because I have had the account/ log in for 15yrs now and I even work for Dell and the only solution that we have is to delete and rebuild.   

just makes me scratch my head a little.
