Microsoft Office 365 Trial Version, not Pro

So I'm having a bit of a problem. The version of Microsoft Office installed in my laptop is only the trial version. I've seen a video from Dell that all products purchased by December 2016 onwards will have its activation built in to the system already. However, after several tries to activate, I still only have the trial version. Can anybody help me on this?
